Already in the next decades, the problem of space debris could make space travel impossible and could change our life on earth fundamentally. In order to prevent this desaster, scientists from Germany are working on solutions. But unlike on Earth, we are currently not able to actively remove debris from space.
The film explores the work with space debris and shows the viewer that not only our action on Earth, but also our actions in Space have far-reaching consequences for us and our environment.
