They were trapped in an ideology for years. They gave up their entire lives and themselves for it. They were extremists: Dominic Schmitz and Felix Benneckenstein, an ex-Salafi and a former Neo-Nazi travel back in time. Two young people who became extremists during their puberty. In completely different groupings, but yet so similar in the biography. On the basis of their experiences, the film poses one of the most burning questions of our time: why do people radicalize themselves? What causes hate to develop? The documentation tries not to denounce, but to understand.
