In this documentary film, Brede explores the art world in Berlin and New York City from the early 1990s to the present day. The connection between the cultural DNA of both metropolises is clearly shown in the film, while at the same time depicting the contrasts in the artistic development of both cities. The film takes the viewer through the lives of artists into the world of success and struggle, of desires and needs. It is a portrait of both cities that connects a group of artists from the fields of art, music, film and design and tells us how, when and why it all began.
